Created by Australian photographer Christopher Ferguston, this project was shot over three years on the road following the rodeo circuit across Victoria, New south Wales, and Queensland.
Through his lens, he captured the people, rituals, and distinct western style that define Australia’s rodeo culture – the worn denim, dusted hats, and quiet pride of a community built on grit, family and tradition.
He tell this visual journey through a chronicle of portrait photography, candid interviews and a short form documentary series featuring the best competitors in the sport across generations.
