A visual journey across Australia’s rodeo heartland, this project captures the all grit, no quit sprit of the competitive rodeo circuit. Through a series of portraits, interviews and short films, it celebrates the riders, their families and the communities who keep the rodeo tradition alive. Driving hundreds of kilometres to rural arenas across Australia this project documents a world where western culture merges with deeply rooted Australian values of mateship and hard yakka. This authentic spirit is found in every cowboy and revealed to us through their stories.
